Tricks of the Trade

When a client’s ferret got out of the house they did the things you would expect – they put up posters and put out food, and spent many fruitless hours calling and searching. The best thing they did was contact a local ferret club. The next day a volunteer arrived and said that when ferrets escape they stay close, prefer to be near water and hide under decks or sheds. They had a nearby stream and within a half hour the ferret was found a few doors down, asleep under a deck backing up to the stream.

My daughter’s snake got loose in the house and was nowhere to be found. Following online advice she placed moist towels in every corner and checked them daily. On the second day there he was, coiled under a towel.
